Hotel Muse | Bangkok

Travelling makes me happy, especially the stay excites me everytime. I like to stay at different hotels even though I am back to the same country or having great hotels I stayed before at the same country. This is because I like to explore new stay and also would love to share the hotel experiences to my readers! This time, I would like to share a hotel that I stayed in February in Bangkok, Hotel Muse. I had been eyeing on this hotel for so long as I love the Classic European design and their concept of luxury boutique hotel, turn-of-the-century grandeur yet with decidedly contemporary.

Usually staying at bangkok I would not bother of staying at the hotels nearby MRT station, as the cab here is extremely cheap. But during the beginning of the year, riot was still going on so we could only take MRT most of the time as most of the main roads blocked by the protesters. The distance between Hotel Muse and MRT Station is around 15 minutes walking distance. Though it is not a short distance, there are a lot of pretty good cafes and restaurants along the roads. So you could probably stop by and have meal or a drink there.

The service is really good, and most of the guests are Caucasians. Perhaps the hotel is more to European style and considered cheap for them.

Hotel Room

We booked Dowadeung Corner Deluxe (Muse Grand Deluxe) as our stay. It costs around 4000++ Thai Baht, for a hotel room like that I would say it worth more than the price! It gives the WOW feeling when you enter the room.

I like how they placed the journal on the bed, it's so classy!

The room is very spacious and everything inside is so incredible, just exactly what I want for my future room.

The view from our hotel room

I love the bathroom especially, love every detail and every corner of it. Black marble floor, claw foot roll-top bathtub, hand-painted basin, Venetian mirror, etc..

The next day, we got up earlier for the breakfast. Breakfast is however did not included, so have to pay extra for it. I forgot the price but I think you can check out on their website, which will be provided in the end of the blog post.

19th Floor

Breakfast

Of course, Su Tha Ros does not only serve breakfast, they serve authentic Thai dish during normal hours too.

19th floor has gym and pool facilities and wet bar as well.

The pool is shallow, 1.2 meter only.

Rooftop Bar

At night, we went to The Speakeasy Rooftop Bar which was located on 24th and 25th floor of Hotel Muse. Remember I blogged about rooftop bars in Bangkok before, you can read it here and here. The Speakeasy Rooftop Bar provides a sophisticated and elegant atmosphere, overlooking the city skyline. They serve dinner too which the menu focuses on gourmet dishes from Michelin Star Chef Jean Baptiste. I would love to try on my next travel!

On the next day, owing to the packed schedule, we ordered room service for our breakfast, the serving was plentiful.

Apart from all of those I stated, Hotel Muse provides transportation for the guests too, and their limousine is cool!

Also their tuk tuk car

Oh yeah, thai massage is a must in Bangkok! To my surprise, there is a thai massage shop located just right beside the Hotel Muse. And also, the price is surprisingly cheaper than most of the places. It opens till 12am, so we spent our massage time there everyday after came back to the hotel. So convenient! Not to forget, there's a 7-11 just right opposite of the hotel. We bought the sim card there.

Overall, the stay was grateful and I would love to come back again for my next visit! :)
